Teacher/Staff Appreciation

Tell us who YOU appreciate!

Parents and students are invited to nominate a teacher or school-site staff member from this current school year who has made a difference by going above and beyond for the students of PVSchools.  Please submit a nomination and tell us why that person has earned your appreciation.  Recipients will be recognized at a special ceremony before the May 17th Governing Board meeting.  To help publicize these annual recognitions among individuals at your school, please consider distributing the poster about the program (all forms are in PDF format).  For a Spanish version click here.

Please review these rules:

 

  • PVSchools employees cannot nominate fellow PVSchools employees (unless you are a PVSchools employee AND a PVSchools parent and wish to nominate your child's teacher).
  • Principals and administrators are not eligible to receive this recognition.
  • This program is an opportunity specifically for parents and students to express appreciation for teachers/staff at their school site.
  • Nominations are limited to teachers and staff at your school site this current year only.
  • If submitting online, please review your selections before submitting to ensure you have selected the correct school.  Corrections will not be made.
  • A message will appear that your nomination has been submitted; we cannot respond to individual inquiries due to the large number of nominations received.
  • A nomination does not guarantee receipt of this recognition.  Administrative approval is required; the selection process is confidential.
  • Recipients will be announced by the individual school sites between late April and the first week of May.  Site principals decide exactly when and how the announcement is made.

Our program will be a presentation and discussion about Middle School preparation and the tradition to high school with Kona Withers, PVUSD Counselor.
