Community Legislative Network
The Community Legislative Network, or CLN, is a Superintendent's Committee that provides stakeholder input in order to advocate for public policy that will benefit Paradise Valley Unified School District. Members of the committee are appointed from every stakeholder group within the district including, parents, teachers, support staff, administrators, and community members.
Each fall the committee develops a legislative agenda for PVSchools. In accordance with this legislative agenda, during the legislative session (January – May), the committee tracks and discusses K12 education bills in order to identify priority bills, in which to take formal positions. Upon carefully measured determination, CLN utilizes an e-mail network to send legislative alerts to individual stakeholders, with the goal of activating them to communicate with their legislators.
