Serves as a resource regarding legislative issues so that UPC members can be more effective advocates for our children and for public education. Our mission is to educate our members about advocacy opportunities within our own local schools and beyond our district boundaries. Legislative Committee members learn about district, county, and state ballot measures, candidates, and bills that impact education. We participate in PVUSD's legislative training for parents and we network with parents in other school districts and with our representatives in the Arizona State Legislature.
