Dissecting the Demographic Study

PVUSD covers approximately 100 square miles and tens of thousands of residences. Within those homes are thousands of school-age children, most of whom attend Paradise Valley schools. Those numbers have seen ups and downs over the past several years, impacted postively by new developments in areas such as Desert Ridge and negatively by the poor economy requiring families to leave the area. Other factors also have contributed to the fluctuations in enrollment numbers seen at our schools.

The Distirct commissioned latest demographic findings and their implications will be the topic of our March meeting, with speaker Rich Brammer from Applied Economics, the firm responsible for conducting the latest study. The information contained in the study will be used in creating strategies and making long-range planning decisions. We hope you can join us for this information-packed meeting!
