Parent Group Training Event

Link up with parent group leaders from around the District at our latest LINC Parent Group Training!

Workshop Topics:

• Volunteer Recruitment -- What works to get parents/staff involved
  
• How to Work with Parent/Staff Volunteers -- Learn key ways to work with all volunteers in your organization
• Effective Communication for Your School Community -- Share ideas and discuss ways to convey information to your school population
  
• President's Exchange -- Talk, listen, and share with other parent group presidents -- there will be one workshop for elementary and one for middle and high school
  

Schedule for the evening:

6:30-6:45 pm   Welcome and introductions
6:45-8:00 pm   Workshop sessions
8:00 pm          Wrap-up and Questions

All workshops will have facilitators who will guide the sessions. This will be an opportunity for you to connect with parent leaders from across the District. It also is a time to share ideas that work as well as the difficulties parent group leaders face.
